The spacious interior of the A-Class is much too good to be used only for travelling from A to B. The versatile interior concept was developed in order to create a flexible car capable of meeting a very wide range of transport requirements.

As a result, the 1:2 split rear seat cushions in the Saloon can be placed in an upright position and the backrests folded forward to create a perfectly level loading area which is not interrupted by a raised sill. The height-adjustable load compartment floor offers an additional level of stowage space. Specify the optional EASY-VARIO-PLUS system and you can remove both rear seat cushions as well as the backrests in order to increase the luggage space. And if you fold the front passenger seat forward or remove it completely, the load capacity increases to as much as 1995 litres.

You also have a lot of flexibility in arranging the space in the Coupé: the rear seat backrest and cushion have a 1:2 division, which means that you can for example fold down one section of the backrest for more stowage space and at the same time still accommodate a passenger in the rear. On request we can install the EASY-VARIO system, which makes the load compartment even larger and more flexible.
